Sleeping Beauty Turquoise
Our Sleeping Beauty turquoise is a true gem—literally and figuratively. Known for its vivid sky blue hue and minimal veining, this dreamy stone comes from the legendary Sleeping Beauty Mine in Globe, Arizona. Named after the silhouette of a sleeping woman that the mountain resembles, this mine produced some of the most coveted turquoise in the world before closing in 2012.
What makes Sleeping Beauty turquoise so special is its signature color: a bright, robin’s egg blue that feels as peaceful as it is striking. Unlike many other types of turquoise, it often appears without the typical matrix or webbing, giving it a smooth, pure appearance that pairs beautifully with both gold and silver.
Because the mine is no longer in operation, natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise is becoming increasingly rare and collectible.
