What Is Jadeite?
Often referred to simply as jade, jadeite is actually one of two distinct minerals that fall under the jade umbrella — the other being nephrite. Of the two, jadeite is the rarer and more valuable, prized for its vibrant colors, smooth texture, and beautiful translucency.
